2026 Best of CT Afterschool Recognition Awards

Nominator Information

The Connecticut Network for Children and Youth is seeking nominations for their Best of Connecticut Afterschool Recognition Awards, recognizing exemplary individuals or programs. These awards recognize their work and/or support provided to the out-of-school time field.

Individuals eligible for this award:
  • work in childcare centers, nonprofit, public, private, faith-based, or any other program that supports youth during non-school hours in Connecticut.
  • serve youth in grades K-12
If a nominee fits more than one role, they can be nominated in more than one category but will need separate nomination forms completed for each.

The submission deadline is September 4, 2026. The individual identified in this application will be notified at the end of September if selected for the award. The finalists will be recognized during the Lights On Afterschool Celebration on October 2, 2026, at Camp Ingersoll in Portland.
