.
The ATC Austin Tech Hall of Fame is a prestigious acknowledgment that shines a light on the architects of Austin’s tech community. This program will honor both the trailblazers who laid the groundwork for the city’s tech success and the new leaders making significant strides. This is year three of the eight year "launch" of the Austin Tech Hall of Fame. We will add eight legacy / foundation inductees per year.
The Legacy / Foundational Inductees are celebrated for their foundational contributions, innovation, and the culture of mentorship they've fostered within Austin's tech scene. Their lasting influence has been pivotal in shaping the community’s trajectory.
The current 2026 Inductee will celebrate someone in our community whose current actions are helping pave the way to Austin's future.
The First Time Founder Award highlights an emerging leader in entrepreneurship. It recognizes a company founder whose first tech business venture has been operational for over three years and is not just surviving but thriving, as evidenced by its profitability and growth. This award celebrates the bravery and innovation required to bring a new vision to life. (the First Time Founder must live in Austin and there company HQ needs to be in Austin).
Together, these accolades represent the spirit of Austin's tech community: a blend of established success and innovative growth. These awards aim to inspire future tech leaders and entrepreneurs, underscoring the importance of both legacy and innovation in driving the community forward.
