2026 AMAC Builds Careers Summer Internship Program Host and Sponsor Application

Overview
The mission of the AMAC Internship Program is to provide access to internships within the aviation industry. We achieve this mission by offering the opportunity to grow personally and professionally. After determining the intern’s interests, the intern will be matched with a host organization offering exposure and experience. Interns will be assigned a supervisor from a host airport or company.

Interns will work either on-site or virtually as a part of the team to learn about the job functions and to receive hands-on experience by completing assignments. The core internship sites are over 10 weeks; however, the internship may be extended an additional two weeks before and/or after the core dates upon mutual agreements between the employer and the intern.

Timeline

Sponsor Applications Due: Accepted on a rolling basis.

Host Priority Applications Due: January 31, 2026

Intern Priority Applications Due: February 15, 2026
Internship Core Start Date:* May 25, 2026
Internship Core Ending Date:* August 7, 2026
