Books to Be Provided

On the Fourth of July: A Sparkly Picture Book About Independence Day
by Maggie C. Rudd
Farrar, Straus and Giroux
Published June 13, 2023

"We lift our flags high above us in pride, waving stars and stripes with red, white, and blue. It’s America’s birthday, and that means cookouts, parades, and fireworks. When the cookouts are over and the pool gates are closed, families will walk from their houses, parade into town, and look to the stars. Surrounded by neighbors and friends, they will watch the fireworks show in wonder as it glitters and sparkles and paints the sky in celebration of Independence Day!"

Will Rogers and His Great Presidential Pals
by Bart Taylor
Yorkshire Publishing
Published September 19, 2023

"From telling jokes to offering wisdom, Will's wit and warmth helped bridge personalities and politics in a divided world. Will Rogers and His Presidential Pals tells the true story of a man whose kindness, humor, and roping skills captured the heart of a nation-and the White House."
