Nominations are now being accepted for open positions in the Adventist Health Medical Center bargaining unit. The following Bargaining Team positions are open:
- Home Health
- Celilo Oncology
- ICU-Tele-Acute Care
- OR/Surgical Services
Candidates must be ONA members in good standing and have completed a consent-to-serve form to be eligible to run and serve in office.
Nominating a Colleague: You can nominate a co-worker for the Bargaining Team position. To do so, select "Nominating Others" and then provide their name(s) and unit/or clinic in the nomination field. ONA staff will check the colleague's membership status and eligibility, then will reach out to the person to have them complete a consent-to-serve form to accept the nomination.
When self-nominating, you can submit your nomination for the open Bargaining Team position if you work in the unit/or clinic.
Election ProcessIf there are multiple candidates from each unit/or clinic who consent to serve, ONA will hold an election.
Election Timelines
- Oct. 19: Candidate list published and notice of election
- Nov. 2: Election Opens
- Nov. 6: Election Closes
- Nov. 11: Election results ratified and new bargaining team members announced
