WHEREAS the Canadian Nurses Association has established its first chapter in Newfoundland & Labrador;
AND WHEREAS the call for nominations for the inaugural Chapter Executive Committee resulted in the exact number of eligible candidates required for each position;
AND WHEREAS all individuals named in the proposed slate are members in good standing of the Canadian Nurses Association and hold current Newfoundland & Labrador chapter membership;
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the following slate of candidates for the inaugural Executive Committee of the CNA Newfoundland & Labrador Chapter be approved, subject to confirmation through an online member vote:
Co-chair: Mary Beatrice Sarah Feltham
Co-chair: Peggy Ann Rauman
Treasurer: Laura Roberts
Secretary: Kandice Collins
Members-at-large: Beverly M. Griffiths, Beverly Wayson, Cheryl Dyke, Crystal Freake, and Nicole Lewis
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT members of the CNA Newfoundland & Labrador Chapter be asked to vote YES or NO on the proposed slate as a single;
AND THAT, upon approval, the individuals named above be declared elected appointed to their respective positions for the inaugural term of the CNA Newfoundland & Labrador Chapter, in accordance with the Chapter Charter.
