Scholarship Application 2026 |
Thank you for your interest in a GRH Foundation scholarship! This is a highly competitive process for future healthcare professionals, with an earlier deadline than previous years.
In 2026, we have three award pools.
The first is our longstanding Sanken-Hatz Scholarship. These awards are available thanks to the generosity of Carl Sanken, a farmer from the Biscay area, Don Hatz, a farmer and postal clerk from the Glencoe area, and many others who care about the future of local healthcare. This opportunity is for students with a permanent residential address within the GRH service area who are pursuing healthcare careers, with a preference for patient-facing roles. The average Sanken-Hatz award is $1,000.00 per student, and multiple awards are made each year.

This $2,500.00 award is donor-funded in 2026, and one qualifying student will be selected.
