Alabama Medicaid is seeking current or past Medicaid beneficiaries, as well as individuals with direct experience supporting Medicaid beneficiaries (such as family members and caregivers, both paid and unpaid), to join the Beneficiary Advisory Council (BAC).

Council Member Responsibilities:
  1. Share their experiences with Alabama Medicaid to help shape Medicaid policy and services.
  2. Suggest agenda items.
  3. Commit to serving as an active council member for 1-3 years.
  4. Participate in quarterly meetings.

The MAC meets quarterly and at different times from the BAC.
