Iredell County Partnership Academy Application Survey

Are you interested in the early care and education field? If so, we encourage you to register for the Iredell County Partnership Academy. Participants will receive FREE training in lesson planning, Infant Toddler Safe Sleep & SIDS Reduction in Child Care (ITS SIDS), Adult and Pediatric First Aid & CPR, North Carolina Foundations for Early Learning & Development (NCFELD), and more. Participants are asked to bring a credit or debit card on the first day to pay for a criminal background check. Attending the Iredell County Partnership Academy will allow potential educators the opportunity to register for their NC Identity (NCID), complete a criminal background check, and gain knowledge needed to maintain quality in the early education classroom. Upon completion of the Iredell County Partnership Academy, participants will be ready to begin a career in the early care and education field with 18 DCDEE contact hours. Attend the Iredell County Partnership Academy in its entirety (October 19, 2026 - October 29, 2026: 2 weeks: Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am-1:00 pm).

Attend each training session without bringing a guest. Guests are not allowed to attend with individuals registered to attend the ICP Academy.

Arrive at least 10 minutes early each day. Participants that arrive 15 minutes late for any training session are ineligible to receive contact hours.

Participate in discussions and activities and complete all necessary surveys to receive contact hours.

Demonstrate respect for myself and others, exhibiting kindness and fairness.

Bring a credit or debit card on the first day to pay for a criminal background check.
