The Best Companies for Women in India (BCWI) study has seen nine very successful runs in India in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 going on to list and showcase Best companies for women in India in all these years. The public listings have always been alphabetical in nature. The trailblazing Top 10 companies across industries are honored as a separate alphabetical list. The 2024 Top 10 Best Companies for Women in India are Accenture Solutions Private Limited, AXA XL India Business Services Pvt. Ltd., Barclays in India, Cairn Oil and Gas, Vedanta Limited, Citibank, EY, IBM India Private Limited, KPMG in India, Lear Corporation and Tech Mahindra Limited (listed alphabetically).
All companies with operations in India and having 500 or more employees in India can apply to participate.

Avtar & Seramount Best Companies for Women in India – Emerging Icons
2025 Best Companies for Women in India – Emerging Icons aims to recognize and celebrate the gender diversity intent of smaller, fast-growing enterprises. In the inaugural edition of Best Companies for Women in India – Emerging Icons companies with employee strength less than 500 employees in Indian operations were recognized and honored.
The 2024 Top 10 Best Companies for Women - Emerging Icons listed alphabetically are Aurigene Oncology Limited, Credable, Envirocare Labs Pvt. Ltd., Giant Eagle Global Capability Center LLP, Grundfos Pumps India Pvt Ltd, Hourglass Essentials Pvt Ltd., Kinaxis India Private Limited, Kraft Heinz India GCC Pvt Ltd, Teleflex Medical Private Limited and Zuci Systems (India) Private Limited.
All companies with operations in India and between 100 and 500 employees/registered MSMEs in India can apply to participate.

The key feature of the study is that it is entirely an alphabetical listing. There is no participation fee to apply to the study.
