Application for THE 2025 (Training Home Educators) Accelerator

THE (Training Home Educators) New Mexico Accelerator is a six month, bilingual training program for family/home-based child care providers.
Please submit this brief application no later than October 1, at midnight. This application should take less than 15 minutes to complete.
THE Accelerator is a program for caregivers who want to start or grow a family child care/home-based care business. The care and education of children is crucially important work, and we support your growing child care businesses!
Please note that acceptance into THE Accelerator is a competitive process. We can only accept a limited number of participants every year. Applications are reviewed by a panel of bilingual judges. 13 (or 15 sessions for unregistered and unlicensed providers) to run January through June 2025 - orientation in November
Graduates will receive $1000 (or more) in stipend payments
Optional open office hours on select Saturdays
Providers will be required to commit a minimum of 2-3 hours per week
Attendees may receive credit hours for their attendance and participation
Alumni (class of 2022, 2023 and 2024) are welcome to apply. Alumni will be considered “audits” and do not receive the $1,000 participation stipend.
THE Accelerator is a collaboration between Growing Up New Mexico, WESST, and Partnership for Community Action (PCA).
