2025 Advocacy Council Application

Thank you for your interest in serving on the Chamber's Advocacy Council. Our primary purpose is to study, analyze and establish policy, in tandem with our Board of Directors, on government issues and legislation affecting our members and the business community. We then advocate for those positions on behalf of the members of the Metro Chamber.

The Santa Rosa Metro Chamber develops policies and practices based on the underlying principle that creating and promoting a pro-business environment will directly enhance the success of private enterprise and quality of life.

3.Advocacy Council members must have permission to serve on the Council on behalf of their organization. If you are not the Owner/CEO, do you have permission to represent your organization?
4.The Advocacy Council meets twice a month: on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday, 12:00-1:30 pm, at the Metro Chamber's office. Council members must attend at least 66% of meetings during two consecutive quarters. Will you commit to, and does your employer support, our attendance requirements?

Thank you for your interest in the Santa Rosa Metro Chamber's Advocacy Council. The Council has a limited number of seats, and all applications are reviewed and approved by both the Advocacy Council and the Metro Chamber's Board of Directors. Please note that you must be a current Chamber member and maintain that membership during your tenure on the Council.
