NAMI California and the California Department of Education (CDE) are excited to announce the 2025-26 $1500 NCHS mini grants funded by Project Cal-Well. Please see below for mini grant requirements and deadlines. You can review application questions in advance on this document.
Thank you for your interest in applying for this year’s $1500 grant opportunity. If your club meets the requirements below, please complete this application. The number of grants is limited, so please submit this application as soon as possible before the September 30th deadline.
Requirements:
- Completed Annual Renewal Form for the 2025-2026 school year or have completed the Endorsement Form and Club Application if starting a new club this year.
- Have an understanding of how you will receive the funds from your school’s finance department.
- Capacity to: 1) complete 2 mental health events in one academic school year, 2) complete reporting for mental health events within a week after event, 3) complete a pre- and post-survey, 4) Attend at least 2 NCHS Monthly Support Calls, and 5) communicate with NAMI CA on club updates and other reporting if needed.
- If selected to receive the $1500 mini grant, your school's principal will need to approve the budget for the $1000 of non-event funds.
