Each year, the Awards Committee of the Alumni Council selects a handful of outstanding alumni who have devoted time, energy and resources to the betterment of the University and alumni at large. These individuals are recognized during Homecoming weekend each fall. All alumni, faculty, and staff are encouraged to nominate an alumnus for recognition!

Criteria used in the selection process includes:
- A graduate or attendee of Delaware Valley University, or its predecessors, The National Farm School or National Agricultural College, Delaware Valley College.
- Achieved a high level of success in their chosen field, and have been recognized by their peers.
- Participated in community activities and have given distinguished service to their profession, and/or to their community.
- Has remained engaged with Delaware Valley University, or its predecessor, either through volunteer work or philanthropy

One winner will be picked from the each of following 10 categories -
Animal Science
Business Administration
Continuing Education ( Evening/part time graduate)
Graduate School Degree
Plant Science
Science
National Farm School/National Agricultural College.
Arthur Brown Award
President’s Distinguished Alumni Award
