IMAPS 2024 Student Competition Application

Design and build a package to house a circuit that controls a laser pointer, the position of which is a function of temperature and incident light energy. The package should provide the ability to input/output electrical signals, allow for actuation of the position of the laser pointer, and protect the circuit against mechanical damage and handling.
  • Process
    • Register at IMAPS 2024 Website by August 1
    • Provide white paper design by August 15
    • Create prototype by September 30
  • Awards for top 3 finishers including travel to the IMAPS Symposium in October
