Supporting Arts Education Access

Every child deserves to be inspired by the wonder and creativity that arts experiences provide. The Arts Inspire Grants support arts programming in Title I schools. This grant is designed to assist with financial barriers for Title 1 campuses to provide students with the opportunity to interact with professional arts and experience the arts from a new perspective. Arts Inspire Grants can be utilized for:
- Field trips to professional arts experiences in the visual arts, dance, music, and theatre, including:
o Transportation fees
o Admission fees
- Artist honorarium fees for professional artist visits to school campuses

Applicants must be employed by a Texas public school and work for a Title I campus. Priority is given to teachers serving rural, low arts access areas. The annual grant application window is September 1 – October 15. Applications must be received by 5:00 pm CST on October 15.

* 27. The Texas Cultural Trust Arts Inspire Grant is designed to support Title 1 schools as they provide students with an exceptional arts experience. By providing my digital signature below, I affirm my understanding that if I do not successfully host the proposed arts experience, I will be required to return all or a portion of the grant amount received to the Texas Cultural Trust.
