CDBG, HOME, & ESG Funds

Hamilton County receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide community development, affordable housing, economic development, and homeless services and programs for County residents. The County will receive approximately $3.4 million in CDBG funds, $1.7 million in HOME funds and $296,000 in ESG funds from HUD for FY 2024 that covers the period of July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025. Each year, Hamilton County must submit an Annual Action Plan to HUD that outlines how it will utilize these funds. As part of this process, the County conducts a community input process to ensure that funding priorities align with the community's needs and to obtain feedback on its proposed plan.

The County would like your input on how we should use these HUD funds. Your feedback will help inform the priorities and goals for developing the FY 2024 Annual Action Plan. Your participation is greatly appreciated!
