Holes in the Schedule
Management is proposing to use this part of the contract to fill holes in the schedule:
4.7 Mandatory Overtime. The Hospital shall comply with the provisions of the Oregon Nurse Staffing Law to the extent its provisions pertain to mandatory overtime of the technical employees represented by the Oregon Nurses Association in this CBA.
4.8 Equitable Rotation of Mandatory Overtime. Subject to the employee’s skills, competence and abilities, the Employer will make a good faith effort to equitably rotate mandatory overtime by inverse order of seniority. A list of employees who have performed mandatory overtime will be kept in the department and will be restarted from the beginning when each employee has taken a turn.
