Computers and internet are NOT provided in meeting rooms. If you are presenting a session that requires the use of a computer, you must supply your own laptop computer or equivalent. Mac users are required to bring their own adaptor cords. Internet connections can be ordered at your expense.

You will be expected to check in at the Conference Registration Desk at least 30 minutes prior to your session(s). Staff will be available to assist you with any of your needs.


At the Registration Desk, you will receive:

  • A packet of Evaluation Forms (1 per session) Please use only those provided and return them to the desk upon conclusion of your workshop.

Audience:
 
Your target audience will consist of NCCAA Executive Directors, Administrators, Weatherization Professionals, Staff, Board members, and nonprofit leaders from North Carolina who are dedicated to poverty alleviation. For more information about NCCAA visit: http://www.nccaa.net/ 

Please make every effort to create an engaging and "fresh" approach for conference stakeholders. Presenters are also encouraged to integrate a "collaborative learning" experience in their delivery systems and technology to engage the audience.

You are encouraged to send an electronic copy of your presentation materials/handouts for posting on the NCCAA website. If you are submitting a proposal for a breakout/workshop session (not a plenary session) and you want to provide handouts for attendees, you will be responsible for providing those materials yourself for session attendees.

Safety

The 2023 NCCAA Annual Conference will have COVID-19 safety protocols in place. Please confirm your willingness to adhere to safety protocols. Additional details regarding the specific protocols will be shared prior to the event but may include vaccine requirements and masking guidelines.

Hotel Reservations

If lodging is needed, you will be responsible for making your hotel reservation. If the conference committee accepts your proposal, hotel details will be made available to you. You are encouraged to make your reservation quickly if your proposal is accepted.

Presenter Acknowledgement:

I understand my presentation should be educational and informative in nature and my participation as a speaker at the NCCAA 2023 Annual Conference is not an open forum for me to make a "sales pitch" about my company or product. Conference management and attendees may evaluate my performance. I understand that NCCAA may use my name, likeness, and presentation materials for publicizing and posting on the conference website for the benefit of NCCAA membership.
