Speaker Proposals | 2023 PAR Policy Conference |
PAR is now accepting Speaker Proposals for the 2023 Policy Conference! This year's conference will be held on Tuesday, April 18 and Wednesday, April 19.
About the Conference: The PAR Policy Conference will focus on current hot topics in policy and advocacy. The conference format will be a hybrid but we prefer speakers to present in person if possible.
What We're Looking For:
PAR is looking for policy and advocacy focused educational sessions. This is an opportunity to share your knowledge in:
- 2023/24 State Budget
- Advocacy
- Alternative Payment Models (APM)
- Community Participation Supports
- Electronic Visit Verification
- Emergency Preparedness
- Employment
- Legislative Trends
- Models for the Future
- Navigating Service Expansion
- Navigating the ID/A System
- Remote Supports or other Virtual Services
- Workforce
- And more!
Returning Speakers: If you have spoken at a recent conference, please refrain from repeating content - our attendees notice! Instead, feel free to propose a session that is a continuation or an update from the last time you spoke.
Hints & Tips: Click here to download a printable version of the Speaker Proposal Form to prepare your information before entering it through our online form. Proposals must be clearly defined, creative, and specifically geared towards our participants. Panels should be limited to four or fewer presenters.
Deadline: Conference proposals are due by Friday, February 10. We look forward to learning about what you have to offer! Please contact Lauren Quigley at lauren@par.net with any questions.
