2023 LOXTON HIGH SCHOOL STAFF COMMITTEES AND WORK GROUPS
As part of the decision-making processes at Loxton High School there is an extensive committee structure. Staff can elect to be on various committees according to their interest.
Contributing on Committees and Work Groups provides staff members with professional development opportunities to increase their own knowledge, skills and understanding of the school’s decision-making processes. Active staff participation strengthens positive school climate and culture and provides opportunities for individuals to interact with colleagues. The document Roles and Responsibilities of Teachers identifies committee membership as an expectation of all staff. Staff are encouraged to participate in committees both within and outside their main curriculum areas.
In addition to Committee and Work Group Membership many staff members, and in particular school leaders, will have whole-of-school responsibilities.
Staff are required to be active members on at least one Committee/ Work Group.
Committee/Work Group membership will be reviewed annually.
