Black Defender Leadership Institute BDLI 1.0 

What-The goal of BDLI 1.0 is to introduce 15 participants to the core competencies of transformational leadership and create a pipeline from the field to leadership within public defense and beyond.
Who-Black professionals in the realm of criminal defense who aspire to leadership positions in their offices or communities. We will prioritize applicants who employ a holistic and movement lawyer approach to their work, which enables them to maximize their impact as transformational leaders.
