Young Entrepreneur Award: Recognising entrepreneurial and leadership activities that contribute to the WA-China relationship
The Nominee:
- Must have demonstrated significant entrepreneurial and leadership activities that have contributed to the WA-China relationship, as determined by the Awards Committee. (‘Entrepreneurial’ activities should include the calculation and taking of risk, innovation, service and continuous improvement in their field. ‘Leadership’ activities should foster greater understanding between WA and China and be recognised within the community.)
- May or may not be a member of the ACBC WA
- Nominator must be a member of the ACBC WA
- Must be a resident (irrespective of visa category) of Western Australia
- Must not be a paid employee of the ACBC WA, and any direct employer / employee relationship between a naming rights sponsor and a nominee will require additional scrutiny
- Must be older than 18 but younger than 35 years old
- Must be a fit and proper person
- Up to two individuals per year will receive this award (unless the Awards Committee otherwise determines)

An acknowledgement letter and/or email receipt will be issued to the Nominator on behalf of the Awards Committee Chair. There will be no further engagement or correspondence with this Nominator about the success or not of the nomination.
