SIAM Convening on Climate Science, Sustainability, and Clean Energy - Participant Application

Introduction

Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) invites researchers, thought leaders, and professionals to participate in the 3-day SIAM Convening on Climate Science, Sustainability, and Clean Energy Scoping Workshop.

The scoping workshop will be focused, collaborative, and creative. Its aim is to stimulate thinking in promising new research approaches and theories at the intersection of climate science, sustainability, and clean energy. Participants in the Convening will be expected to engage constructively in dialogue with each other, the professional facilitators, and the subject guides to articulate research needs relating to climate science, sustainability, and clean energy. Scoping workshops are designed to jumpstart grand challenges, collect input from large and diverse communities, and explore potential areas of research.

The SIAM Convening on Climate Science, Sustainability, and Clean Energy will be held in-person and will take place October 10 - 12, 2022 in Tysons, Virginia, U.S.
