The IRIS Consortium is already beginning to plan the 2022 SAGE/GAGE Community Science Workshop, which will take place in late May or early June 2022. Exact dates and location are still to be determined. We plan to have the workshop either in person, with live-streaming via YouTube for the plenary sessions only, or fully virtual depending on the state of the pandemic at that point. Your opinion matters, and will help us to determine if we should justify an in-person workshop with the National Science Foundation.

The following questions are aimed to help us gain understanding in your level of interest for an in-person workshop in 2022. We understand that potential attendees' opinions may change over the next 6-12 months.

Question Title

* 1. What is your first preference for meeting format in May-June 2022?

Question Title

* 2. If the 2022 meeting is held in-person, how likely are you to attend?

Question Title

* 3. If the meeting is in-person and you choose not to attend in-person, would you plan to watch the live-stream plenaries?

Question Title

* 4. If the meeting is entirely virtual, would you plan to attend?

Question Title

* 5. If applicable, are you willing to follow local guidelines and precautions regarding pandemic safety (e.g., wearing a mask)?

Question Title

* 6. Would you be more comfortable attending an in-person workshop if we required a 'vaccine passport'? (Religious, personal, and other exemptions may apply.)

Question Title

* 7. Additional Comments to help us better understand your thoughts on the meeting format:

We hope to virtually 'see you' at the 2021 GAGE/SAGE Community Science Workshop that will take place August 17-19, 2021, hosted by UNAVCO. Registration opens June 1, 2021.
