2022 OEFFA Conference Persons of Color Scholarship Survey

In the United States, sustainable agriculture has its roots in the agrarian technologies of Black, Indigenous, and other communities of color. It is necessary to honor and engage in these traditions as we continue furthering our education. Sponsorship for Persons of Color is intended to increase access for these communities so that we all may have a more enriched, expansive, and fulfilling conference. We encourage growers and enthusiasts from Black, Indigenous, and other communities of color to apply.

Please comment if there are any needs that you have and we will try to accommodate. The in-person event will consist of lectures, workshops, an exhibit hall, with activities taking place on three levels. Elevators and escalators are available; the bathrooms have not been upgraded to be ADA compliant. The online event requires a computer and reliable internet, and typically a presenter will provide an electronically accessible handout that you can download from the online conference platform.
