Since 1739, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office is committed to providing the highest quality law enforcement services to the citizens of Morris County. As an accredited law enforcement agency, we prescribe to a codified set of nationally recognized standards to help maintain the level of quality and proficiency in our services. 

As mandated by the New Jersey Constitution, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for courthouse security, legal process, warrants, foreclosures, and Sheriff's sales.  

The Sheriff's Office also provides specialized services, some of which include the Sheriff's Emergency Response Team, Criminal Investigations Division, Community Outreach and Planning Section, Bomb Squad, K-9, Emergency Services Unit and CrimeStoppers.
