Equestrian Queensland is hosting the next Intensive Coach Assessment Clinic at Burpengary Equestrian Centre 21 - 22 June 2022.

These clinics focus on candidates being assessed in their practical coaching assessment slips for either their EA Introductory, Level 1 or Level 2 coaching accreditation.

or we may consider a part payment upon application. 
 
The following pre-requisites for Introductory Coaching are required upon registration: 
  • EA membership
  • Evidence of EA Introductory Riding Certificate
  • Evidence of EA Introductory Horse Management Certificate 
  • Evidence of completion of EA Introductory Assessment Slip 2.1 and 2.2 - Coach Observations
  • Evidence of completion of EA Introductory Assessment slip 3 – Individual Coaching
  • Evidence of First Aid Certificate
  • Evidence of Blue Card
  • Evidence of Sport Integrity Anti-Doping Fundamentals (formerly ASADA Level 1) Certificate - free to complete HERE
  • Evidence of Sport Australia Community Coach General Principles - free to complete HERE 
There is also a requirement that you attend the organised face to face with an EA Coach Educator to complete the Orientation to EA and the EA Coaching Pathway.  This 4/5 hour session ensures that you are prepared and understand the expectations of how a Coaching Intensive format works. The session is included in the registration cost and will be organised and held by EQ approximately 4 weeks prior to the Coaching Intensive.

This session will also cover:- 
  • Assessment slip 1 -Theory exam (please bring completed theory exam)
  • Assessment Slip 2.3 - Risk Management Planning will be covered here

Please note Lunging the rider at all Coaching levels is to be completed separate to the Intensive Clinic.

Please note individual assessment slips do not need to be sent in.  A copy of the course checklist (found at the front of the EA Introductory Coaching resource) with relevant section signed by a current Coach Educator will suffice.
