2022 SIEDC Health & Wellness Expo - Community Health Hero Nomination Deadline: Thursday, September 15th 2022

What is a hero? Be it a frontline worker, or a person who changes lives behind the scenes, we want to hear about these individuals' invaluable impact on our community! At the 2022 Health & Wellness Expo, the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation (SIEDC) will be honoring a Community Health Hero that champions worthy causes and goes beyond the call of duty to provide critical support to Staten Islanders in need.
Nomination Criteria:
 
1) The nominee must work on Staten Island
2) The nominee must have a demonstrable record of contributing directly to improving the health and well-being of Staten Islanders
3) The nominee must embody heroic characteristics, putting the wellness of others before themselves
4) The nominee should not work for a local hospital, as there will be a separate Health Hero Award category to recognize these individuals
