Although the total premiums might vary, it is a good bet that most E&S carriers and MGAs/Brokers insure many contractors, habitational risks and vacant buildings. This session will focus on these three major classes of business with an emphasis on underwriting issues and challenges, policy intent, claims and regulatory considerations faced primarily in the western part of the United States. Participants will apply what they are learning to real-life claims to illustrate the types of losses that are covered and those that are excluded and why.
