Community Leader Award

In 2022, Golf Canada created the Community Spirit Awards.  The awards will celebrate leaders within the community who would otherwise not be recognized by their local, provincial or national halls of fame, and to acknowledge their stories and efforts that otherwise go unnoticed.  Minimum age requirement of 20, otherwise, please use the Future Leaders Award Nomination Form.

This award would be given to community members:
• Whose passion for the sport of golf extends beyond the game
• Those who use golf as a tool to better their community or raise awareness for other causes
• Impacts the community through volunteerism or charity
• Implements D&I initiatives to grow the game
• First Tee contributors/leaders

The recipient will also receive a $5,000 donation from the Golf Canada Foundation to the golf program or golf-related initiative of their choice.
