The Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) 2022 Annual Conference Forum and Theater Submission Form

This submission form shall be utilized to submit sessions for inclusion in the conference program that are NOT symposia. Note, this form should NOT be used to submit meeting requests. Only use this form to submit Forums, Panel Discussions, Roundtables and Workshops. A separate link for meeting requests will be sent to you.

This submission form must be received by Monday, May 31, 2021 to have your session considered for the 2022 Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas.

FORUM PRESENTATION
Forums are an opportunity to discuss information that is relevant to the industry but does not require a technical paper. The topic and information must be technically accurate and must be relevant to AMPP’s mission. Forums shall address topics for varying levels of experience including beginner, intermediate and advanced topics. (1 to 3 hours)

PANEL DISCUSSION (FORUM)
Panel discussions are a great way to gather a group of people together to discuss an issue of public concern, provide feedback on something, or brainstorm solutions to a problem. The key is to select or create a panel format and select speakers that will resonate with your audience and be congruent with the topic. (60- to 90-minutes)

RAPID FIRE LIVE (FORUM)
Rapid Fire Live sessions allow participants to test their knowledge using an interactive audience response system (ARS). Experts will lead lively multiple-choice question-based discussions, and the audience will enter their answers with their mobile devices. Results are instantly tallied and projected on the screen, providing participants with immediate feedback. Attendees are expected to bring their own mobile devices for use during the session. (45- to 90-minutes)

ROUNDTABLE (FORUM)
Roundtables are intended to focus on open discussion of broad scholarly or professional questions. Roundtables should address a specific theme affecting the industry but formal presentations during these sessions are discouraged. Proposals must demonstrate an emphasis on engagement between panelists and attendees. (60- to 90-minutes)

THEATER PRESENTATION (Exhibit Hall)
Theater Presentations are an alternate option to reach audiences in the exhibit hall. They feature technical presentations in two semi-private theaters on the exhibit hall floor. Each theater can accommodate an audience of 60 people and presentations. (60- to 90-minutes)

WORKSHOP
Workshops provide useful member services such as training and skills or professional and employment development and support. Workshops are a maximum of four hours long and may require preregistration. These cannot be submitted as a guaranteed session. Workshops are typically offered as an unopposed session the day prior to the start of the Annual Conference. (1 to 4 hours)
