WICT Southeast is looking for enthusiastic, organized, and dedicated members to run for the 2021 Board of Directors! Serving on the Board is an exceptional opportunity to expand your leadership skills, connect with a diverse group of professionals, and make a positive impact on the industry.

What It's Like to Be on the WICT Southeast Board: Personal Perspectives

The time commitment varies, based on position, but board members should expect to devote a minimum of 5-15 hours per month to the organization. Additionally, all board members are required to attend monthly board meetings, held on the third Thursday of each month from 12pm-2pm ET /11am-1pm CT, either in person or via conference all. We also encourage board members to attend chapter events whenever possible, as well as an in-person transition meeting to be held in Chattanooga (on a Saturday or Sunday date to be determined). This year it is likely to be held virtually.

You do not have to be of a specific professional title or position level to serve; however, you must have your supervisor’s approval to run. We welcome participation from all facets of our industry. We are a working board, and while we seek out member volunteers to help execute events or contribute to our committees, board members are not permitted to delegate duties to an employee or direct report.

Nominations will be accepted through Friday, July 24.
