Thank you for your interest in joining the RP Group Board of Directors!

The Board nomination form shares some information about The Research and Planning Group for California Community Colleges (RP Group) and our Board of Directors, who is responsible for guiding the mission, vision, and purpose of the organization. The RP Group utilizes a regional representation model to connect and engage Board members with Institutional Researchers, Planners, and Effectiveness (IRPE) professionals in nearby colleges and districts. The initial term for these positions will begin July 1 and will last three years. Subsequent terms will align with the standard two-year Board member term. For a complete description of the roles and responsibilities of our Board members, please visit our Board of Directors webpage.

The Board nomination process will close on Friday April 30th at 1:00pm. Please be sure to complete your nomination form before this deadline to secure a spot on election ballots, which will be disseminated to college/district IRPE office leads on May 5th. Each RP Group Institutional Member receives one ballot to cast a single vote for the RP Board member to represent their respective region.

Since this election is off-cycle, we only have two Board vacancies at this time for the North Bay/Peninsula and Inland Empire regions.

If you have any questions about the RP Group Board nomination and/or election process, please feel free reach out to Brad Trimble, Director of Learning and Development, at btrimble@rpgroup.org.
