Cache Bouren - Proprietor of Haberdasher and Cash Only (formerly Dive Bar). Bouren has spent a life in hospitality, passionate about world class bar and beverage programs and is always searching for new and creative ways to inspire his peers to be contributors of culture and style to the community. As a resident of San Jose, Bouren looks forward to coordinating with local government agencies to provide bar and restaurant owners the resources needed to thrive.

Ernst Calais* (Director since 2019) - Site Operations Director for Adobe responsible for the US West Region inclusive of San Jose, San Francisco, Emeryville, Seattle and Los Angeles. A resident of San Jose, Calais is currently serving on the Station Area Advisory Group (SAAG) for the San Jose Diridon/Google Development and as Board Member and Administrative Director for CoreNet Global Northern California.

Indu Chakravarthy - Associate at RMW Architecture Interiors with a background in architecture, sustainability and historic preservation, with a deep interest in urban issues and placemaking. Chakravarthy has worked on several projects in the downtown San Jose commercial district, most notably, the Bank of Italy, with design partners BIG and Urban Community. Having lived and worked in the Netherlands and India, San Jose has been home for Chakravarthy for the last decade for its urban character, inclusiveness and diversity across income levels, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and economic dynamism.

Elizabeth Chien-Hale - Partner of the Silicon Valley Office of Appleton Luff specializing in patent and other forms of intellectual property protection. Chien-Hale is an active participant in the legal community with extensive volunteer and leadership experiences with the American Bar Association and CNIPA-US Bar Liaison Council. A resident of downtown San Jose, she has served on the City's Appeals Hearing Board, Sister Cities programs, and is currently the President of the San Jose Downtown Residents Association.

Elizabeth Cirone* (Director since 2019) - Associate at the San Jose office of Hopkins & Carley and a member of the Real Estate Practice group, focusing on all phases of construction and real estate related disputes. As a San Jose native, Cirone is vested in making downtown a thriving and safe environment.

Gino De Bernardo* (Director since 2018) - Vice President at Comerica Inc. specializing in providing levered credit facilities and other banking services to institutional investment funds in North America with a focus on Private Equity, Venture Capital, Hedge and Real Estate. De Bernardo is a downtown property owner, resident, and enthusiastic advocate since 2010 and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Little Italy San Jose.

Joshua DeVincenzi Melander - An accomplished sales professional and community leader, Melander is currently a Business Development Manager with Provident Credit Union and manages a major partnership with San Jose State. Melander worked as a Levi’s Stadium Sales Consultant for the 49ers, and was Director of Membership for the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce. Melander was born and raised in San Jose and is the Founder and President of Little Italy San Jose.

Garrett Perez* (Director since 2019) - Partner and co-founder at Pinnacle Peak Advisors LLC. Perez’ background includes more than 16 years of experience providing tax and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families and their privately-held entities. His firm is headquartered in Downtown San Jose.

Henry Phan - General Manager of Hotel Clariana, an independent boutique hotel located in the downtown San Jose Historic district, and a member of its ownership group, RSTP Investments, L.L.C. Phan has over 30 years of experience working in hospitality and 10 years of experience in commercial development in downtown San Jose. A downtown San Jose resident since 2005 after his hometown of Biloxi, MS was devastated by Hurricane Katrina, Phan recognizes the challenges that downtown developers, property owners, and business owners face.

Dan Pulcrano* (Director since 2019) - CEO and Executive Editor of the Silicon Valley-based Weeklys media group which publishes 14 community newspapers in the greater Bay Area, including the flagship Metro Silicon Valley. Weeklys operates digital services SanJose.com and San Jose Inside, and has an agency division that brands events and companies. Pulcrano incorporated the San Jose Downtown Association, served on SJDA Board 1986-1995, 2009-2015, as Founding Board President 1987-1988 and organized downtown’s business improvement district (BID).

Miguel Salinas - Program Officer, Local Grantmaking Program for The David and Lucile Packard Foundation. As a relationship-builder with experience across the social, education, corporate, and non-profit sectors, Salinas has served as past board member for Downtown College Prep; Teatro Visión; Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino American (MACLA); and Hispanic Foundation Silicon Valley. Salinas currently serves as the Board President for the School of Arts & Culture at Mexican Heritage Plaza, San Jose.

Derrick Seaver - Chief Executive Officer of the San Jose Chamber of Commerce. Seaver has served as Executive Vice President to the former San Jose-Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce; as Chief of Staff to Santa Clara County Supervisor Susan Ellenberg; as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the 78th District from 2001 to 2006; and as past Director of Policy & Operations at SJDA.

Neda Tabatabaie* (Director since 2019) - Vice President, Business Analytics and Technology with the San Jose Sharks responsible for overall business strategy initiatives through the use of technology, data and analytics. Tabatabaie is currently serving on the board of Sharks Foundation.

Edwin Tan - Director of Advocacy and Community Relations for San José State University strengthening external partnerships for SJSU and implementing strategic initiatives. Tan has served as Senior Chief Advisor and District Director for Congressman Michael M. Honda; the Director of Advocacy and Development for AACI; Board Member for the Bay Area Anti-Trafficking Coalition; and is immediate past President of the Silicon Valley Asian Pacific American Democratic Club.
