Dear Prospective Summer Staffer,

Thank you for your interest in serving the Lord at Look Up Lodge this coming summer. We are excited about what God wants to do here, and you could be an important part of our team.

We encourage you to persevere through the application process, even if it seems daunting. Many times after reading the qualifications, prospective applicants feel unqualified for the job; however, experience has shown us that the people who feel the least qualified often have the greatest potential as summer staffers.

The single most important qualification for being a summer staffer (after being a believer) is the desire to share the Gospel with children and teens through daily service and sharing of your life. Second to that is your willingness to work hard and to be teachable. If you have those two qualities, we can teach and refine almost everything else. We believe that being a summer staffer is a very challenging job, but it’s worth it!

If you are already familiar with Look Up, then you probably have a good idea of what to expect as a summer staffer. However, if you are new to Look Up, feel free to email Zachary Bird (zach@lookuplodge.com) with any questions or to set up a call, and he would be happy to help you!
