Note: Since DPD students applying to a Dietetic Internship (DI) or an Individualized Supervised Practice Pathway (ISPP) will not know if they are accepted until April of next year, appointment to the ACEND Student Representative position may be contingent upon acceptance into a DI or ISPP.

The time commitment involved with being on the Board includes:
  • Attending the Program Reviewer Workshop and CBE Workshop for onboarding
  • Attending one site visit as an observer within 1 year of appointment
  • Approximately 3 hours/month for monthly ACEND Board and committee conference calls.
  • Approximately 1-3 hours/week for various responsibilities, such as materials to review, committee work, etc.
  • Approximately 1 hour/month as an ACEND representative to the Academy’s Member and Student Advisory Committee
