2021 Salute to Leaders Awards Nominations

Since its founding, the United States has been known across the world as a society of citizens who volunteer. In many ways, that is how this country was built and Clermont County has exceptional volunteers who continue that tradition.

That is why Clermont County volunteers are honored each year at Salute to Leaders, a project of the Clermont Chamber of Commerce Foundation. These volunteers often are unsung heroes who ask for no reward or recognition.

All nominees must live, work and/or volunteer in Clermont County and their contributions must be done outside the normal workplace requirements. Elected officials and governmental organizations are not eligible. Not all categories are awarded every year.

Salute to Leaders honorees will be presented on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 with a dinner and awards ceremony at the Oasis Conference Center in Loveland. Tickets are available here or by calling (513) 576-5000.

An educational initiative that made it possible for residents to succeed in school, learn marketable job skills, gain knowledge that helped their community or enjoy experiences that made life richer.

VIBRANCY AWARD
- Efforts that improved the environment, preserved natural resources, encouraged conservation of green space, or created recreational opportunities.
OR
- The quality of life in the rural communities was protected and/or enhanced.

HEALTH AWARD
An activity that improved the physical and/or mental well-being of citizens.

THE UP 'N OVER LEADERSHIP AWARD
A hard-working, well-rounded student, age 16 to 21, who demonstrates exemplary character and leadership both in school and community activities.

THE WILLIAM H. OVER LEADERSHIP AWARD
An individual who has made a significant and lasting impact through his or her leadership in improving the quality of life in Clermont County.
