To show our support, we're giving $500 to a local charity that YOU choose!

From September 1 to September 30 at 7:00 PM vote for your favorite local charity below. The one with the most votes will be awarded the $500 donation. The recipient will be announced on our website on October 4.

Southern Valley Alliance
Serving Carver and Scott Counties in Minnesota, they provide victims of domestic violence and their families with crisis intervention, support, referrals, protection and legal advocacy.

Saints Foundation
They work to help improve community health. More specifically, Saints Foundation will secure financial resources and make grants to St. Francis Regional Medical Center or St. Gertrude’s Health and Rehab Center to do things such as:
+ Expand programs and services as well as purchase cutting edge technology
+ Enrich support services that ease the burden of illness and disease for patients and their families.
+ Support charity and mission-related care

CAP Agency
CAP assists Scott, Carver and Dakota counties and empowers people to achieve social and economic well-being in partnership with our community. They envision a strong community with healthy individuals and families, quality education, safe and stable housing and work that dignifies.

Carver Scott Humane Society
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved. As of 2018, we adopt into the community over 500 dogs and cats every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, Fur Keeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.

Hugs from Hunter
Their mission is to provide comfort to children in crisis. They provide children a cuddly teddy bear and a security blanket to comfort them during difficult times. They also have a shelter, called the Sojourner Shelter, which is a secure and temporary residence for women and their children who are unsafe in their own home.

Laker Educational Fund
They connect the resources of generous parents, staff, alumni, residents and community businesses, with educators and students of all ages to enrich opportunities and foster excellence within the ISD 719 school area.

Beyond the Yellow Ribbon – South of the River
Beyond the Yellow Ribbon – South of the River is a community effort to honor, serve and support all military families, both past and present.
