PESA is committed to supporting pre-service teachers to grow their understanding of Positive Education, and to this end we are delighted to once again offer pre-service teacher scholarships for our 2021 Wellbeing in Education Conference.

2021 marks our sixth national conference, which will run 30 September - 2 October at Ravenswood School for Girls in Sydney.

The scholarships include full 2.5 day conference registration and a travel allowance of up to A$400.

We are pleased to offer 1 scholarship per state and territory (8 in total).

To be eligible, nominees need to be enrolled at any Australian university and currently undertaking:

-   Bachelor of Teaching
-   Master of Teaching
-   Master of Education
-   a PhD in a relevant field

To apply, please complete the form below.

As the conference has been postponed, we have extended the nomination closing dates to 21 July 2021.  Successful applicants will be advised early August.

We look forward to welcoming pre-service teachers from across Australia to our Australasian Wellbeing in Education Conference, and to playing our part in fostering a new generation of Positive Educators.

  • This scholarship includes a A$400 allowance for travel expenses - this includes flights, accommodation and/or airport transfers. No other expenses will be covered. Successful applicants will need to submit receipts for reimbursement within 4 weeks after the conference.  Any expenses exceeding A$400 must be covered by the Applicant.
  • PESA reserves the right not to offer a scholarship in any or all states or territories if, in the opinion of the PESA Board or the scholarship selection committee, nominees are not eligible or appropriate.
