The Viking OER and Textbook Affordability Initiative is offering $500 mini grants to support "zero cost" courses, where the total cost of course materials for students is $0.

An information session will be held on Zoom on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 10-10:30. Link

Eligibility: Full-time and part-time faculty and librarians who developed a "zero cost" course for Spring 2022 or who plan to develop one for Summer 2022 or Fall 2022.

Deliverables: Instructors who have developed "zero cost" courses and are teaching them in Spring 2022 will upload their previous syllabus and their Spring 2022 syllabus upon application.

Instructors who are developing "zero cost" courses and are teaching them in Summer 2022 or Fall 2022 will upload their previous syllabus upon application and submit their Summer 2022 or Fall 2022 syllabus by August 30, 2022.

Paperwork for $500 mini-grants for Spring 2022 courses will be submitted to payroll by May 31, 2022. Paperwork for Summer 2022 or Fall 2022 courses will be submitted to payroll by September 15, 2022.
