2021 Call for Presenters

Emerge | Evolve | Elevate: Refocusing for the Future
The Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless seeks workshop proposals for our 2021 conference titled: Emerge | Evolve | Elevate: Refocusing for the Future. At this time, we are planning for an in-person event though we’ll be closely monitoring the situation. We are eager to gather with you safely.
Deadline to submit a conference proposal has been extended to 11:59pm on June 7th, 2021. Click here if you want to see the survey questions in advance of submitting. If you have questions, please email info@mnhomelesscoalition.org
The conference will be held in Duluth, MN on October 7th & 8th. Sessions should meet the professional and personal development needs of a diverse audience, including people new to the work, experienced professionals, and people experiencing housing and economic insecurity.
The MCH 2021 conference will focus on connecting Minnesotans from across the housing sector to refocus on our shared future. Together, we can develop a deeper focus on equitable and effective models within the housing and homeless response system and strengthen systems for housing stability and economic security for every Minnesotan.
As you are shaping your proposal, consider how attendees can learn from you in order to refocus for the future to end homelessness. How can we EMERGE in a way that allows for us to EVOLVE and ELEVATE core solutions and approaches? Have new partnerships emerged? How can we elevate and advance racial equity? How can we evolve the homeless prevention and response system? Let’s elevate the very best of our work together to advance change so everyone has a safe, affordable and dignified home.
All workshop proposals are welcomed and will be considered. We will give special attention to those that align with the theme of this year’s conference. We will also give preference to presenters who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQI+, people with lived experience of homelessness and other under-resourced communities.
