Award Description and Terms
Description
This award is to be presented to a person / group / community who has supported and/or advocated for a family physician who is an International Medical Graduate. The successful nominee is recognized for the help given to assist IMGs as they integrate professionally and personally into life in Manitoba.
Requirements
1. Nominations must be submitted by an IMG who is practicing in Manitoba as a family physician.
2. The Award Recipient may be a non-medical individual.
3. A nomination may be re-submitted in a subsequent year.
4. The nomination will require completion of this questionnaire along with a letter detailing the types of support offered and the impact it had.
5. This award will be announced and presented at the Annual Members Meeting Friday April 24, 2020. The recipient will receive a complimentary ticket to the pre-AMM luncheon.
6. Current MCFP Board Members and IMG Committee Members are not eligible for nomination.
