Thank you for your interest in presenting at this year’s MTSS Summit. We look forward to having you share your knowledge and skills about an MTSS topic that represents best practices for improving outcomes for students.

The purpose of the Summit is for educators in Colorado to gain knowledge, understanding, and application of CO-MTSS. Our theme this year is “All means all: Passion, purpose, and problem solving.” We are especially interested in sessions that address issues of data-use and sessions that discuss meeting the needs of underserved student populations. This ensures that we are in alignment with CDE’s All Means All initiative, giving access and opportunity to all students across the state of Colorado. For presentations where data use or students with diverse backgrounds are not the primary focus, we encourage you to extend the content to make connections to those topics, when appropriate.
The Summit will be held at the Antler’s Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado;
Monday, August 3rd (8:30am-5:30pm) and Tuesday, August 4th (8:30am-12:45pm).
We will feature two keynote speakers, 5 different breakout session times, and a networking/poster session.
We welcome educators across Colorado to submit a proposal to present. Presenters are encouraged to incorporate effective adult learning strategies that include active engagement and opportunities for the participants to apply the learning to their professional practice. You may submit for a 75-minute breakout session or a poster presentation (poster presentations are 36 X 48 inches and will occur during our networking hour from 4:00-5:30pm on August 3rd).

Suggested topics include:
* Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary
* Meeting the Needs of Students in Rural and Urban School Settings
* Literacy, Mathematics, and Behavior
* Implementation Science
* Climate and Culture at the district and school level
* Effective Instructional Practices
* Assessment, Teaming, and Data-Based Decision Making

Please answer all of the questions to submit a proposal. Proposals are due by April 15, 2020.

You will not receive a confirmation email after submission. We recommend that you save your proposal in a separate file.
