Linda Berryman Memorial Scholarship Application
Thank you for your interest in applying for the Linda Berryman Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship was established to honor one of the conference’s founders and former chair, Linda Berryman. Scholarships will be awarded to individuals seeking safety education in the oil and gas industry.
The application window is open until August 15, 2020. Scholarship notifications will be sent on or before September 15, 2020.
Upon selection as a scholarship recipient, the following will be awarded: • Conference registration for one • Hotel accommodations (plus tax) for two nights • Hotel parking for two days • Continental breakfast (Tuesday, November 17 & Wednesday, November 18) • Lunch (Tuesday, November 17 & Wednesday, November 18) • Hotel restaurant pre-paid dining for dinner (2 days) value of $50.00 per day.
Award Process: • Selections will be made after reviewing all applications received on or before the August 15, 2020 deadline. • Scholarship recipients will be notified via e-mail no later than September 15, 2020. • Scholarships are non-transferable. Scholarship recipients must notify conference staff if they are unable to attend. • Recipients are responsible for securing their own travel and any additional incidental expenses. • Recipients must present a credit card to the hotel to guarantee any charges not covered by the scholarship. • Confirmation numbers for conference registration and hotel accommodations will be supplied to scholarship awardee.
