CMRPC 2019 Regional Legislative Priorities

CMRPC's Legislative Affairs Committee monitors actions of the Massachusetts State Legislature and US Congress as they pertain to concerns within the CMRPC region. The Committee will work in concert with the parallel bodies in the region as well as work closely with and advise the Massachusetts Association of Regional Planning Agencies (MARPA) in its dealings with the State Legislature.

The Legislative Affairs Committee hosts educational forums at least twice each year. Some events are focused on building awareness of issues among community leaders, while other events provide the setting for a facilitated conversation with legislators on select topics such as transportation funding, unfunded mandates, climate change, water infrastructure,  and zoning reform.

Please take a few moments to provide us with information that we can use to develop the CMRPC 2019 legislative priorities. The survey is short and should take no more than five to ten minutes. Thanks in advance for your time. The deadline for survey responses is Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
