Green and Gold Day 2019 is set to take place from noon to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, September 13. As a celebration of the U of A community, the event will feature opportunities for the institution's faculty, staff, students, and alumni to demonstrate their campus pride.

This year's event will feature a parade that will span across the U of A's North campus. To participate, please complete the following form by August 23. Following your submission, a member of the Green and Gold Day Working Group will contact you to confirm your acceptance of your entry, and to collect any additional details regarding your entry.

Rules:
  • Entries should be decorated to match the theme of green and gold
  • Entries must include at least two attendants to supervise/operate the entry on the day of the parade
  • Carts, wagons, and bikes are allowed
  • No cars or trucks may be used to operate floats
  • Recognition and advertising of corporate or community sponsors (i.e. non-U of A sponsors) on parade entries can be submitted for approval, however approval is not guaranteed
  • No open flames or firearms shall be allowed
