2019 Pooled Fund Grant Committee

Join us for Washington Women's Foundation's next Pooled Fund Grant Committee in 2019!

Our Pooled Fund Grants support five areas: Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Health, and Human Services.  Fueled by the combined strength of member giving, Washington Women’s Foundation makes five annual Pooled Fund Grants of up to $100,000, one grant in each of five funding areas. These transformational grants help not-for-profits meet critical needs, pilot new projects and foster innovation. And, because the Washington Women’s Foundation’s grant-making process is respected for its rigorous analysis and intensive member involvement, a grant from us often serves as a catalyst for leveraging other foundation grants and individual donations.

All Foundation members are invited to participate on the Grant Committee - no experience necessary!  The committee researches and nominates candidate organizations for the Pooled Fund ballot that the entire membership votes on in June. Through a set of workshops and meetings starting in January, members analyze proposals, engage in discussion, and conduct site visits as part of their work.
