1. Housing and Community Development in Nebraska

The State of Nebraska, along with the Nebraska Department of Economic Development and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, is developing a five-year plan known as the “Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development.” The Consolidated Plan will guide policy, actions, investment for housing, economic development, infrastructure, community/public facilities, and services over the next several years. It is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and serves to address unmet needs and determine funding allocations for housing and community development activities in the state. As such, the plan depends, in part, on the experiences and opinions of people who are knowledgeable about housing and community development as well as those who wish to share their opinions about these needs throughout Nebraska.
