Dear Applicant:
Thank you for your desire to “Be a Rescuer” through employment with the City Rescue Mission of Lansing. The City Rescue Mission is a Christian ministry devoted to meeting physical needs to bring those with spiritual needs to Jesus Christ. We have been active in Michigan’s capital area since 1911 and serve hundreds of men, women, and children every day. Because we are a religious organization, we are looking for like-minded individuals who are actively involved in his/her local church. In submission of this application, you agree to follow our doctrinal statement and to abstain from smoking and drinking. Employees of the Mission may be asked to undergo random drug testing. Our requests of Mission employees help to ensure the best possible environment for our guests as well as to maintain a testimony by living the example we are trying to teach to our guests. For questions regarding our employee practices, please refer to the 1964 Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
Please note, your application must be properly completed to qualify for consideration. Those applications will be evaluated. If a position is not available, your application will be kept active for 90 days.
